Barrow-Upon-Soar Youth
Working in partnership with the Barrow Parish Council. This runs on a Wednesday evening, from 5.30pm - 7pm @ Freckles Café, in the winter, and 5:30pm - 7pm @ The KGV Playing Fields, in summer. This takes either a drop in youth café style evening or a chill space in the park! We aim create a space for young people to come and ‘hang out’ with our team, playing games, chatting about everything and anything, having some drinks with occasional food, relaxing and coming to belong somewhere.

Free Drinks & Hot Food
Each week, we give our Young People free cold drinks. Every other week, we aim to provide a free hot meal in addition to the free cold drinks. On occasion, this may not be possible due to transport arrangements or due to supply issues.
The Café
Thanks to the lovely Emma at Freckles Café, in the winter, we have access to a warm, dry space. The Young People can play games, chat and enjoy food in the comfort of their very own Youth Café.
The KGV Playing Fields
During the summer, we meet in The KGV Playing Fields, next to Humphrey Perkins Secondary School. We bring games, such as rounders, and provide a gazebo for shade... or cover from the occasional rain. It's just a fun place to come and chill outdoors with other Young People.
